The minimum age for children on the RIB is 5 years old but may be increased if weather conditions dictate. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. A ratio of one adult per child is required for children under the age of 10.

RIB’s rides are not suitable for people who are pregnant or with health conditions of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted on the boat.

The trips range from 40 minutes to 4 hours.

You should wear warm windproof clothing and soft soled flat shoes . We provide life jackets which are compulsory. The wearing of hats or loose held clothing is at your own risk.

We advise that passengers bring sun tan lotion and a bottle of water. Also please be aware that there are no toilets on the boat.

Our maximum speed is 30kn (35mph). The maximum speed on your trip will depend on the conditions at sea but your skipper is very experienced and will ensure that you have a very safe and memorable ride. The speed limit in the harbour is 4kn so plenty of time to take in the beautiful scenery. We would ask that you remain seated and hold on at all times – no standing allowed whilst the boat is moving.

If the weather is bad enough to cancel the trip we will contact you beforehand and offer an alternative date or a full refund. If, on the day, the local sea conditions at the intended destination are considered unsuitable by your skipper, an alternative destination may be visited.

No liability is accepted for loss of telephones or cameras or the like as it can be windy and bumpy on the RIB. Use of cameras, phones or recording equipment is at your own risk.

You can take a small bag with you which can be placed inside a storage area under the seat.

It is advisable, especially for groups but we do occasionally take bookings on the day subject to availability.
